Testing programme terms
Who we are
EWN LTD (trading as EWN), registered in England and Wales, company number 16124006, Flat 143 Adelphi Court, North George Street, Salford, M3 6HU. Email hello@dropshipi.com. Phone +447861982290.
These terms apply to every Partner, Seller and Supplier who joins the Dropshipi testing programme. They sit alongside the Partner terms, the Seller terms or the Supplier terms, and the privacy notice. If they disagree, these testing terms win while the programme runs.
Using the platform as it is
By taking part you agree to use the platform as it is, with the features, product range, suppliers and limits it has on the day. We are growing the range deliberately: product lines and suppliers will be added slowly, in stages, so some products, categories or suppliers you would like may not be available yet. Nothing in the programme promises a particular product, supplier, stock level or date.
What the programme is
Dropshipi is new and in testing mode. While the programme runs we give you access to every module that has been built, free of charge, within the allowances shown on your Plan page. Modules marked "coming soon" are not built yet: we may describe them, but we do not promise a date, and they may change or never launch. You can ask for a higher allowance on your Plan page; we decide each request at our discretion and usually reply within one working day.
Free now, and how we tell you before that changes
The programme is free until we end it. We will email you at least 14 days before it ends, and before any charge for a plan or any fee for suppliers starts, so you can decide what to do. You will never be charged for a plan without choosing one and agreeing to the price.
Our right to change things
We may add, change, limit, pause or remove any feature, allowance, price, rule, process or part of these terms at any time. We will tell you in advance by email or in your portal where we reasonably can. We may act at once, without advance notice, where we need to protect security or people's data, comply with the law or a marketplace's or courier's rules, deal with abuse or fraud, or fix a fault. If you keep using the platform after a change you accept it; if you do not agree, stop using it and close your account.
Testing mode: what that means for you
- The software may contain errors, be unavailable, be updated or reset, and data may be lost or changed. Keep your own copy of anything important.
- It is provided "as available" with no promise that it will meet your needs or be uninterrupted. Do not rely on it as your only system for orders, stock, tax or money.
- Calculators, margins, VAT figures and suggestions are examples and aids, not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice. Check them with your own adviser and your own figures.
- You use the platform at your own risk and check each listing, price and order before you rely on it. You stay responsible for your marketplace accounts, your customers and your compliance (see the Partner terms, section "Selling lawfully").
- Your feedback helps us build; you give us the right to use it without payment or credit.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the platform: no counterfeit, unsafe or illegal goods; no false or misleading listings or reviews; no attempts to bypass limits, security or verification; no scraping, overload or resale of our catalogue data outside your own shops; no use by anyone under 18 or by consumers. We may limit, suspend or close an account, or refuse a product or order, if we reasonably think these rules are broken or a marketplace, supplier or regulator requires it.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to sign you in and keep your session secure; the platform does not work without them. Optional cookies (for example analytics) are only set if you allow them through the cookie settings. How cookies work on our shop is in the cookie notice. By signing up you accept the essential cookies.
Your data
We handle your personal data as set out in our privacy notice for partners and sellers, and your buyers' data under our data processing terms. During testing we may need to correct, reset or remove data; where practical we tell you first.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, and because the programme is free and experimental, we are not responsible for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data, or for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for anything arising from the programme is limited to £100. These terms are for businesses and sole traders acting for their business.
Ending
You can leave at any time by closing your account from Support, and we will delete your account data as our privacy notice says. We may end or suspend the programme or your access, with notice where we reasonably can.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Tell us about any problem by email and we will reply within 5 working days.
