Privacy notice for partners and sellers

This notice explains how we use the personal data of Partners, Sellers and people who use their accounts. We are the controller. (How we handle your customers' data for you is in our data processing terms; the shop's own customers have a separate privacy notice.)
What we collect, why, and our legal basis
- Account and contact details β name, email, phone, business name, address, VAT number, sign-in details (passwords only in scrambled form). To run your account and contact you about it. Basis: contract.
- Verification β identity and business documents you upload, and our review notes. To check who we're trading with and prevent fraud. Basis: legitimate interests and legal obligation. Documents of a declined application are deleted 90 days after the decision; uploads never sent for review are deleted after 180 days; documents of a closed account 90 days after closing.
- Money β balances, payments, invoices, plan and billing status. Card details are held by Stripe, not us. Basis: contract and legal obligation (accounting records are kept 6 years).
- Connected accounts β the access keys for the shops, marketplaces and suppliers you connect, stored encrypted, used only to do what you ask. Basis: contract.
- Use of the service and security β what you do in your account, IP address, device and audit records. To keep the service secure, fix problems and improve it. Basis: legitimate interests.
- Service emails β order, account, billing and security messages. Basis: contract. Any news or offers only if you opt in; unsubscribe any time.
Who we share it with
The sub-processors listed in our data processing terms, our professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
While your account is open; after it closes, account data is deleted within 30 days (Sellers) or 90 days (Partners), except financial records kept 6 years and anything needed for a dispute.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, to correct, delete or move it, or to object to or restrict how we use it. Email us and we'll reply within one month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
